Jason Chillingworth

Jason is a director of ‘Focus’ and still very much a practicing clinician, fulfilling a clinical physiotherapy role, as well as undertaking ergonomic work. Jason graduated from Liverpool University School of Physiotherapy in 1992. His formative Physiotherapy years were spent working at Aintree University Hospital. Following a number of years here, including time as a senior member of staff, working in the musculoskeletal out-patient department, he spent time working and travelling in Australia. He held a number of posts, whilst in Australia, including working with the Australian armed services in Darwin.

Following a return to the UK he has worked back in the NHS, in private practice and industry.His private practice work has included working with athletes from the ‘English Institute of Sport’.

He set up ‘Focus Physiotherapy and Ergonomics Ltd’ in 2005 alongside Treena.He graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Health Ergonomics, from the University of Surrey, in 2006. 

Meet The Team

Treena Chillingworth

 Treena is a director of ‘Focus’. As well as carrying out a consultant role for the business, she works part-time within the NHS as an ‘Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner’ working with Spinal and Rheumatology Consultants.

Helen Westcott

Helen qualified in Manchester in 1989 and has worked in the NHS and private sector subsequently. Her initial junior posts meant gaining a broad range of experience before specializing in musculoskeletal therapy. Helen treats a wide range of injuries as well as dealing with post-operative treatment and rehabilitation. She has a special interest in the treatment of spinal pain. She continues to undertake post-graduate training.  Her training  includes Maitland manual therapy and McKenzie diagnosis and treatment.

Lee Brogan – Personal Fitness trainer 

Focus Physiotherapy has teamed up with Lee at ‘Wirral PT’, in order to provide clients with an opportunity to further improved their fitness to return to their chosen sport activity or workplace. Our aim is to work collaboratively for our clients’ best interest and tailor our treatment and rehabilitation to maximise recovery and return to activity.Lee has worked with a number of professional athletes including members of the GB volleyball team & a number of professional rugby clubs. He is currently working with Tranmere Rovers Football Club, working on strength and conditioning of the senior squad and academy players. His experience of working with elite athletes helps him provide structured sessions that offer the highest standard of Personal Training.

Lee currently playssemi-professionalrugby and has a strong interest in all things fitness related. To that end, he has pursued a career in the sports and fitness industry and gained a BSc (hons) degree in Sports Exercise Science. Since leaving university he has used his experience and sports science background in the world of personal training. Lee is dedicated to every client and gets real enjoyment and reward from helping people achieve their fitness goals.
